I enjoy the thick impasto work, working wet on wet paint. I just love the way it feels on the canvas when I put the strokes down, the heaviness of the amount of paint on my brush, not mixing it on my palette, but rather on my canvas.

Visiting the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam in 2008 and 2015 was a fantastic opportunity for me to experience his work. It was an overwhelming experience filled with admiration and awe, to be able to come so close to his paintings that you could almost touch them!
